Last night I finished These Is My Words, by Nancy E. Turner. A fictional story inspired by the author's family memoirs, this story is like the diary of a young lady from the late 1800's. Sarah Prine is a woman who didn't have the chance for a real education but learns a love of books and reading. The story takes place in the Arizona Territory and it seems like the settler's endured more trials and suffering than happy times. I would reccomend this book as it really gave me a greater appreciation for how the women of years ago had to live. I realized that we have it so easy living in a modern world.
